The leaf pick up and disposal program for St. Joseph County residents
is no longer performed, funded or subsidized by the county government.
The collection and disposal of leaves will now need to be performed by
individual homeowners or private enterprises at the homeowner's expense.
This five-week program will be on a first call, first served basis. In order to provide a first class
manageable program, we will limit the number of clients we serve this Fall. Rates will be based
on the average of past year's collection yardage. This option is available to subdivisions, neighborhoods,
entire streets, and individuals. Junoll has data based on last year's collection. We will calculate a flat rate
and identify the final cost prior to service. Three passes will be made, as weather permits in the Fall. This
service requires sign-up before October 6. Payment is due at the signing of the service agreement by
check or credit card.
